Volvo is a Swedish manufacturer founded in Gothenburg, now split into several independent companies covering cars, trucks, construction equipment and other heavy machinery. Volvo Construction Equipment produces excavators, wheel loaders and other earthmoving machines, while Volvo Trucks builds a wide range of heavy trucks and tractor units such as the VNL and FH series used extensively in North America and Europe.
